Tracking the Florida Republican primary gives you a more clear idea of what the Republican agenda is all about. It is Anti-Obama - even though he prevented an economic melt-down, saved GM auto, implemented Wall Street reform, and got health care passed...but just because. They are anti-immigrants even though Newt has tried to soften his position - it leaves undocumented immigrants that have been in the US over 20 years, to come out of the shadow and stand before local citizens groups to be accepted or not (do you think many will be accepted?) and then they still have to go back to their country to apply for visa. Romney, well since South Carolina, he changed his position (surprising - no) to vote for part of the dream Act allowing undocumented in the military citizenship. TPL will provide more facts about theri agendas over the coming months. They are also anti-middle class. Don't just take it from TPL - just listen closely to see if any has provided any real plan. They criticize Obama; they talk about how Obama is pushing class warfare and yes they talk about cutting spending by cutting government jobs, social security, Medicare... So you know the more you cut the more jobs will be lost even in the so called "private sector.' Just imagine if the Republicans cut big Defense programs. That is taxpayer money that is used to pay the Boeings and Northrop Grummans of the world to hire Americans to build Defense related products. So just know that many, many private industry jobs that are tied to government contracts would go. This leads to their Anti-99 percent / Pro-1 percent position. Obama wants the top 1 percent to pay a tad more. The top 1 percent by paying a bit more will generate revenue that is needed to cut down the deficit. So having the top 1 percent pay a bit more is a far more concrete plan than the Republican plan to cut, cut, cut! What does you think? Under Obama, America has had 22 months of sustained grow - yes slow and not enough jobs but just stop and think - the mess the Bush Administration left America in is not one to fix in a couple years - no President could have done it faster especially with the Republicans being against every Obama initiative.
